Los Angeles Jewish Events:  Metzora

(Candles 7:02pm as per Rav Moshe Feinstein, zt”l)

One of the finest women I’ve ever known, the mother of my wife, Louisa bas HaRav Yaakov, was nifter this past week on Rosh Chodesh Nissan.

The following statement sums up her life, who she was and who loved her.  All 12 of her children, from Los Angeles to Morocco to Paris .. are sitting shiva for her TOGETHER in Eretz Yisroel.  Some kind of wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.  I will miss her tremendously.  She treated me like one of her own children.  My tears now are a testament to that.

LAJE will be on hiatus until May 2nd, Parsha Kedoshim

Please be informed that there will be NO community Chometz burning this year.
