CALIFORNIA ENTERPRISE ZONE TAX CREDITS

Recently, new areas of Los Angeles, Hollywood, the San Fernando Valley and Long Beach have been designated as Enterprise Zones. Businesses and business owners located in any of the 42 Enterprise Zones in California can realize substantial reductions in state income taxes for hiring employees from certain targeted populations and purchasing of qualified equipment and machinery. The Tax Credit Company specializes in all of the intricacies involved in the tax credit analysis process.

Why don’t I ask my CPA to do this? Because this is not traditional accounting. Most often, the maximum benefit of this government incentive program goes unrealized. A Tax Credit Company reanalysis typically results in a 40% or more increase in the amount of credit found.

TCC has served over 300 clients including Safeway, Bally’s Total Fitness, Cessna, Johnson Controls, Inc., Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Score American Soccer, Conway Western Express, and ABF Freight.

Whether this is your first time in the zone or a re-analysis, we believe can help you. Please contact us to learn more. We look forward to speaking with you.

A Talmid Chacham, who is an expert in Mishnayos and Shas, is now accepting sponsorships to learn the entire Mishnayos and/or Mesechtos of Gemara for the zechus (merit) of the person of your

choice. This includes an option of having the entire Mishnayos learned within 30 days of the passing of a loved one in their merit. For more details, call 323.931.0224

About Cantor Cohen: Born in London, England, Cantor Cohen grew up in a family where Chazzanut is in the blood; both of his grandfathers were Chazzanim, as well as his father and two older brothers. His brother, Cantor Yudi Cohen, is chazzan of the world-famous Sydenham Shul Choir in Johannesburg. From a very young age he was singing for family and friends. This progressed to leading services at age 13 on a weekly basis at various synagogues in the East End of London. Continuing to sing all the way through his high school years, he then took up High Holiday positions around the world.

Following Cantor Cohen’s rabbinical ordination in Melbourne, Australia, he was appointed as chazzan of the Pretoria Hebrew Congregation (PHC) Synagogue in Pretoria, South Africa, where he sang with a large shul choir. For two years, he attended the Vocal Art School of Opera in Pretoria.
