Shabbat Morning Speaker Saturday, May 19, Rabbi Dr. Shalom Gold. Rabbi
Shalom Gold is Dean of the Jerusalem College for Adults of the Orthodox
Union Jerusalem World Center, where he is a regular and popular speaker. He
is both the founder of the Ner Israel Yeshiva of Toronto and founder and
Rabbi Emeritus of Kehillat Zichron Yoseph in Har Nof, Jerusalem. He is
former rabbi of Young Israel of West Hempstead and the Bnei Torah
Congregation, Willowbough, Ontario. Rabbi Gold made Aliya with his family in
1982. He has been involved in encouraging Aliya, and is well-known for his
participation in the struggle for Eretz Yisrael. He lectures widely in

Young Couples Shabbos Oneg w/Rabbi and Rebbitzen Summers – May 19th 5:30pm -
(Parsha Bamidbar) 5:30pm to 7:15pm, hosted by Michael and Rachel Malk (to be

The Rosh Hayeshiva of Bais Medrash Govoah Lakewood, Harav Dovid Schustal,
Shlit’a will be spending Shabbos in our Community (La Brea / Fairfax). The
Rosh Hayeshiva will speak for Men and Women at Bais Yaakov 7353 Beverly
Blvd. at 5:00 on the topic of Kabolas Torah for our generation. The Rosh
Hayeshiva will then give an Iyun Shiur at the Kollel of Los Angeles at 6:00.
Mincha will be at 6:55 followed by Shalosh Seudos with the Keynote Address
on Kabbolas Hatorah. The Rosh Hayeshiva is also scheduled to speak in our
Shul during Shachris Shabbos morning (KEHYAAKOV)
Kollel’s Womens Shiur — The Shabbos women’s Shiur sponsored by the Kollel
of Los Angeles will not take place this Shabbos. Instead women are
encouraged to attend the Shiur given by Harav Schustal at Bais Yaakov at

This coming Shabbos afternoon at 6:15pm at Young Israel of Hancock Park,

Rabbi Shalom Gold is Dean of the Jerusalem College for Adults of the
Orthodox Union Jerusalem World Center, where he is a regular and popular
speaker. He is both the founder of the Ner Israel Yeshiva of Toronto and
founder and Rabbi Emeritus of Kehillat Zichron Yoseph in Har Nof, Jerusalem.
He is former rabbi of Young Israel of West Hempstead and the Bnei Torah
Congregation, Willowbough, Ontario. Rabbi Gold made Aliya with his family in
1982. He has been involved in encouraging Aliya, and is well-known for his
participation in the struggle for Eretz Yisrael. He lectures widely in

shiur entitled “Torah She’B'Ksav and Torah She’Baal’Peh”. The shiur is
leilui nishmas Rochel bas Alexander Sender, Sidney Teichman’s mother.

midnight with a shiur by Reb Zvika Ryzman
followed by shiurim given by Rabbi Moshe Golberg, Rabbi Baruch Zheutlin and
HaRav Yakov Krause.
