Shmiras HaLashon Shiur is Back- Motzei Shabbos, March 8

This monthly shiur, based on the Chofetz Chaim’s teachings on the mitzvah of proper speech, is presented by Rabbi Stulberger, principal of Valley Torah High School and an expert on Shirmas Halason. The shiur will be held on Motzei Shabbos, March 8, at 8:30 p.m. at the Pines home, 9042 Larke Ellen Circle, (one block west of Robertson, one block north of Monte Mar), Los Angeles. The shiur is given in memories of Chana Rochel bas Shaul, Margie Schmidt-Pines’, Susan Schmidt-Lackners’ and Juliet Schmidt’s mother, and Leah Golda bas Menachem Tzvi, Rabbi Stulberger’s mother. Everyone is welcome. Studying Shmiras HaLashon can change your life!

Through Alienu’s programs,

Los Angeles has developed a national reputation for cutting edge research, program development and mental health and educational resources that meet the needs of the frum community.  As part of Aleinu’s ongoing commitment in identifying the needs of our community, we have constructed a survey in order to better understand marital issues prevalent in our world. The Aleinu Halachic Advisory Board, led by Rabbi Goldenberg and Rabbi Union are strongly encouraging participation from the entire community.  The survey can be found at www.rsxportal.com/Aleinucommunitysurvey.com .All survey responses will be directly sent to OTX Research, an independent survey company.  The survey is confidential and will only take you a few minutes to complete. We all know that in order to make this survey statistically valid, we need to have as much participation as possible and your assistance is critical. Let’s work together as a community to use research as a way to improve marriages and family relationships. We look forward to presenting the research to the community on Shabbat of Awareness, March 15, and to developing further programs to address the issues.
