Late Maariv Minyan
We are attempting to have a weekday (Monday through Thursday) late Maariv at 8:30pm. If you can commit to the minyan or are interested, please contact Robert Friedman asap (rsf613@earthlink.net). This is in ADDITION to the regular mincha/maariv minyan that is being held at the shul during the week.

November 27th – Turkey Beis Medresh! (Thursday, National Legal Holiday)
Rabbi Avrohom Union will deliver a shiur for men, starting at 8:45am on Thursday morning, Nov. 27th at Anshe Emes. Topic is “Practical Halachic Laws of Avoda Zara.”
We are working on a women’s shiur on the same day. Details will be coming soon!
B’Nos is a Shabbos afternoon program for girls run by Bias Yaakov students. (Due to remodel, program will be at Aish).
Our own, Esther Schmidt-Pines is B’Nos head, for Pico- Robertson this year. The Pico-Robertson branch of B’Nos will bat at Aish on Shabbos! All girls in grades pre-1A to 7th grade are invited to participate from 2:50 pm – 4:00 pm. Come try out the activities, games, learning and refreshments. No charge. RCC Kashrus Announcement
In response to numerous inquires, please be advised that Fairfax Meat and Fish is no longer supervised by the RCC.
2nd announcement: In a recent e-mail we informed you that “Fairfax Meat & Fish” is no longer under RCC certification. We hereby clarify that said establishment is known more accurately as: Fairfax Grocery (formerly: Sammy’s Makolet).(511 N. Fairfax Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90036) and they are no longer supervised by the RCC.
There is no association between above establishment and Fairfax Fishery, which continues to be certified by their certifying agency (Kehilla).
