Calendar for Pre-Pesach and Pesach (including Chol HaMoed)
We know there are mistakes on the current shul calendar for April. I will be emailing through emessaries a complete listing, starting from Thursday morning, through the end of Pesach, of all the zmanim for each day for all events you need to be informed about. (For example
Kashering Day
There will be a koshering day this coming Sunday (April 13th) at the shul from 1pm to 4pm. However, we ask that this be kept to Anshe Emes families only. There will be a new mashgiach working for us on Kashering day and he is not familiar with the equipment and processes that we go through at Anshe Emes. Thank you for your understanding, (See attached flyer). Rav Summers will be at the shul during Kashering day for Mechiras Chometz and Maos Chittim.
3rd Shacharis Minyan to start this coming week on Monday
We will be starting our 3rd Shacharis minyan (for Nissan) this coming Monday, April 14th at 8:00am
The minyan will run during the coming week as well as during Chol HaMoed.
Pesach Tomchei Shabbos Deliveries (Anshe Emes run)
Volunteers are needed from Anshe to help with the Pesach Tomchei deliveries on Sunday (and also Monday and Tuesday evenings, but Sunday is our biggest concern). Anyone interested or available to help please contact or see Gary Ganchrow or Rav Summers ASAP.
Shabbos Shacharis on Erev Pesach
Since we are required to finish eating on Chometz on Shabbos morning at 10:17am on Parsha Acharei-Mos/Eruv Pesach, the start time for Shacharis has been moved to 6:45am on Shabbos morning to permit families to time to enjoy their Seudah.
Shumura Matzah for Pesach
The shul will have shumura matza (they are on their way to the shul). Price is $26/lb (no guarentee about breakage- they are matzahs).

Mechiras Chometz & Maos Chittim
Rav Summers is available for Mechiras Chometz.
Also, we are accepting checks for Maos Chittim (please indicate such on check payble to Anshe Emes). There are many in the community that can use our help.

Women’s Chumash Chavrusa Group on Wednesday evenings
Dr. Rachel Freedland is giving a women’s Chumash Chavrusa group on Wednesday nights 8-9 pm. If you are interested in learning Chumash in depth and sharing it with other women, this program is for you. We will pair up and learn Chumash Shemos pasuk by pasuk with Mefarshim.
