Important community meeting on proposed club on Robertson Blvd

By Aaron | January 25, 2008

BE THERE! BE HEARD! Our last chance to make a difference!

Dear Neighbors, Religious & Community Leaders, and Friends,

The Police Permit Review Panel has set January 28, 08, to take public comment before making a decision on the strip club’s final operating permit.

The club is now operating on a temporary permit. The Hearing will be held:
Monday, January 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
Hamilton High School – AUDITORIUM
2955 South Robertson Boulevard
Los Angeles, California 90034

You may also submit a letter to the Los Angeles Police Commission at
150 North Los Angeles Street, Room # 144, Los Angeles CA 90012.

If you have any questions, please contact Booker Ridgeway, Los Angeles Commission Advocate, at (213) 473-5173.

Please attend this hearing and feel free to FORWARD this notice to your neighbors and community associates.

It is critical that the community turn out in force for this meeting. The panel examiner needs to see and hear firsthand how many people in the community are outraged that the club is opening. The hearing is our best chance to argue for operating restrictions, infraction penalties-or denial of the permit altogether. Talk to your neighbors, community groups, faith organizations and schools to spread the word.
