Childcare 2008-2009

We would like to thank Bahara Kashki, Leah Krombach and Danna Leeds for their years of dedication to the Anshe Emes Childcare program.  Their outstanding efforts, kindness and efforts have provided our children with a place they want to be while their parents are davening.  Danna who will be leaving us to go to seminary in Israel  and Bahara who will be getting married on the 13th, will  both be with us till the 12th of July, Leah till the end of the summer.  I am sure the whole kehilla would like to join me in wishing them well.

Beginning either this summer or by September we will be adding a new group.  We will be making a new younger boys group which will be specifically for boys aged 4/5 -6/7.    The start date for this is TBA but we hope that this will enhance our program and reach out to those boys who feel TOO BIG to be in the younger group but find the older group TOO  BIG for them.

Feel free to ask me more about it when you see me in shul and please look for more announcements in the near future.

Sincerely,  Tal Paley-Bentolila

Summer SEED Program

This year’s group is from Yeshivas Chofetz Chaim in Queens, NY and is being led by one from last year’s group, Ari Turk.  We hope to have the bocherim here starting around Rosh Chodesh Av until after Tisha B’av.  As in previous years, the goal is to have the bocherim involved in different facets of the Shul in to order to provide wider exposure.  We encourage everyone to take advantage of this unique opportunity to share in the Torah and excitement for studying Torah with this outstanding group of B’nai Torah.  If you are interested in sponsorship, please contact me (rkershberg@pobox.com) or Rav Summers.
