Summer Learning program Anshe Emes
- We will be having five bocherim coming from the Chofetz Chaim (Forest Hills) Yeshiva and Zicron Aryeh Yeshiva (this is the Rabbi Shaya Cohen’s Yeshiva).
- Torah U’Mesorah is partially sponsoring the trip for the bocherim. We are turning to the kehillah to help with contributions for their stay here.
- If you can host any of the boys during the two weeks (they will be here from July 27th to Aug 10th), please email me (rkershberg@pobox.com).
- Sign up sheets for the learning time slots in the evenings will be up in the shul soon!
- Thank you in advance for your support for this wonderful learning program at the shul.
Mark Magid – Parsha Balak – Highlights
- Why does the Torah list all of the stations that the Bnei Yisrael traveled through ?
- According to Hashem, all 48 cities of Leviim could serve as an Aray Miklat. What was the difference between the designated 6 and the other 42 ?
- Why does the inadvertent murderer have to wait for the death of the Kohain Gadol to leave the Ir Miklat ?
Reminder on payments sent in to the shul
Please indicate the purpose of the check (Kiddish, dues, aliyah, etc) in the memo section on your check. It makes our internal accounting procedures much easier!
