ANSHE EMES -- FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. How can I become a member?

Join us for services, lectures, children's programs or special events! Anshe Emes was founded in 1948 with the philosophy that participation makes a person a member of a synagogue, and that we form more than a place to discharge our obligations to G-d, but rather we fuse ourselves into a community to bond to each other as well. We invite your participation and welcome your presence. PLUS there is a form in the office for new members to fill out, or fill out our online form, so we can enter you into our database. Membership dues are:

  • $850 per family (2 seats for High Holiday services and additional seats are $150 each.)

  • $450 family associate membership (without High Holiday seats)

  • $450 per individual (1 High Holiday seat)

NO ONE IS TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS.  Please talk to Rabbi Summers directly with your individual concerns.

2. How do I find out more about lectures and special events?

  • Homepage at www.anshe.org

  • Infoline: (310) 276-6617
